Musical theatre is a genre of theater or film in which singing and dance performances are interspersed that, combined with the emotional plot and musical accompaniment, are directed to a very diverse audience. Its style and structure allows the spectator to follow the show and understand it in a simple way, and the sung part usually emphasizes the high points of the work or the trajectory of a specific character.
In the musical theater we find a lot of stylistic variety, from lyrical musicals to rock, hence a musical performer must be versatile to be able to face a score with a classical sonority like My Fair Lady or West Side Story nd at the same time be able to interpret Wicked or Sister Act.
For this reason, in this workshop we will work with you on the staging of musical theater songs and we will be able to apply the right sound to the musical we are singing.
The Broadway workshop is aimed at those who want to deepen the interpretation aspect to take the first steps in musical theatre.
