Singing Broadway workshop
Musical theatre is a genre of theater or film in which singing and dance performances are interspersed that, combined with the emotional plot and musical accompaniment, are directed to a very diverse audience. Its style and structure allows the spectator to follow the show and understand it in a simple way, and the sung part usually emphasizes the high points of the work or the trajectory of a specific character.
Since interpretation is important when it comes to singing musical theater songs, our Broadway singing workshop provides you with the the technique and tools necessary to combine singing and performance.

In the musical theater we find a lot of stylistic variety, from lyrical musicals to rock, hence a musical performer must be versatile to be able to face a score with a classical sonority like My Fair Lady or West Side Story nd at the same time be able to interpret Wicked or Sister Act.
For this reason, in this workshop we will work with you on the staging of musical theater songs and we will be able to apply the right sound to the musical we are singing.
The Broadway workshop is aimed at those who want to deepen the interpretation aspect to take the first steps in musical theatre.
What are we going to do in this workshop
- We will review the history of musical theater to observe the evolution of this genre.
- We will learn different types of vocal heating depending on whether the theme to be performed is classical or pop.
- We will sing fragments of musicals of different styles and we will observe the different forms of vocal placement.
- We will work on the interpretation part and the on stage part of a duo with the teacher.
