about me

As a little girl I always said “when I grow up I want to be an actress who sings and dances”. I soon started to take ballet, jazz, tap dance, theatre and singing lessons. I liked musicals above everything else, and this passion peaked when, at eight years old, my uncle Miguel Ortega, who is an orchestra conductor, directed West Side Story in Barcelona. I went to see it “a thousand times”.

When I finished high school, I happened to focus more on music: musical theory, harmony, piano… And I discovered jazz. I took an advanced degree in Jazz singing at the Liceo and from then until today, I have been a singing teacher and I specialise in musicals and jazz.
